British Shorthair is compact, well-balanced cat, with well-developed broad chest, strong of short to medium size limbs, rounded feet thick at the base and tail with a rounded end. The head is round, with a distance between the ears, full cheeks, firm chin, medium-sized ears; large, round, well opened eyes and broad nose of medium length. The coat is short and very dense. Females are not as massive as the male. Males are with more developed cheeks. And male and female cats of this breed are formed relatively slowly.
